– THE TINY FOOTPRINTS PROJECT –

One of my favorite things I do in this life is volunteering for an organization called The Tiny Footprints Project. We give families with babies in the NICU a free session to document a small piece of their journey. This is completely free to the parents and they receive a digital gallery of up to 100 images!

I have met the most amazing parents with incredible strength! This journey for some has been long and hard and for others just a short time. I have only photographed babies that are closer to coming home and a bit bigger than when they entered this world. It is amazing that a baby at 25 weeks born at just over a pound fights so hard to live and wins! I have so much respect for these parents who put life on hold to be there for their tiny little ones. The stories I hear when I am there are incredible. Every one of these babies are a miracle and the parents know that very well!
