Baby Photography

Baby Photography has come a long ways since my kids were babies! Recently my husband and I were looking at our kids first year albums. We noticed they used the same blue carpet as a background or floor in almost every photo! I did photos every month for the first year. I always something I had a coupon for since we were young and poor. LOL! Those photos in today’s standard are just terrible but they mean the world to me! I can look at their books and see my babies. The memories of what it was like to have little ones are so vivid, and I miss it so so much!! My biggest piece of advice is: These days should be cherished because they are gone way too fast! Even though it’s hard some days, you will miss them…

Now about this boy who this post is about…He was SO cute! There have been so many boys in the studio lately. In fact, I haven’t had a newborn girl in the studio for almost 3 months! WHAT?!?! Usually, the girls outnumber the boys as far as newborn sessions. This has never happened in my 5+ years as a newborn photographer! This run of boys has been a handsome bunch! And, they’ve had the best hair!! This little guy decided that session day was a great day to stay awake to see the world! He was perfectly content to just be awake, but was so strong he would get himself out of every pose and wrap! We did manage to get him to sleep enough to get some amazing photos for his mommy and daddy! Enjoy this sneak peek of Baby D’s session!
