A little about how we got here…

Hi! I’m new here… 😉 My family and I recently relocated to the Waco area from Sothern California. Some pretty big life changes but so far we are loving life here in Texas! I am so excited to become your go-to Waco Newborn Photographer!

Why did we choose this area?

Our daughter bought a place in Valley Mills and we wanted to be close to our grandson. We now have a granddaughter due in the next few weeks so it makes the location that much better.

What brought you to Texas?

My entire family decided independently to move to Texas. We do have a lot of family here already which made Texas an easy choice. My parents will be moving in July as well as my sister and her husband. They will be in the Harker Heights/ Belton area. Our son and his fiance moved to the Austin area a few weeks before we made our move. So here we are starting over in a new state! We are all very excited about the new adventure!

How long have you been photographing newborns?

I have been in business for 10 years. I started with families and High School Seniors. I have always loved babies and decided that’s what I need to move my focus to and never looked back! I’ve been photographing newborns for 8 years. I also LOVE all of the milestones – 6 months old and one year!

Do you have any other experience with Children and babies?

YES! I had a home daycare for 15 years when my children were young. I also ran the children’s ministry in our former church. I also worked in a preschool for a few years prior to having my own kiddos. I’ve been around A LOT of babies and have a few tricks up my sleeve for getting them to cooperate. Sometimes I get them a little too wound up but we always always have fun!

Where do sessions take place?

I am SO excited about this part! We are currently building out a large studio on property! It will be more than double what I had before and I couldn’t be more excited! The studio should be finished by the end of July and ready for clients in early August! The studio will be a comfortable place to come and hang out while I work my magic with your newborn!

Will you do on-location sessions?

Not at this time. I need to learn the area better to find the ideal shooting locations. Once I figure that out I’ll let everyone know and start booking outdoor sessions! I know the weather is very different here than in California so I would like to figure that part out also! It’s hot here in the evenings when I usually shoot!
